T. minus 15.5 hours until the new big appointment.

Disappointment today. The doctor couldn't detect the baby's heartbeat today. I know this is normal, and before we went to our appointment, I kept saying to Dave, "if she can't find it, that's ok. It doesn't mean anything's wrong." I was still very sad though. And we don't exactly feel like celebrating with an expensive meal yet. The good news is that the doctor was able to schedule me in for an ultrasound tomorrow morning at 9:00am, so we don't have to wait too much longer. Bonus: we'll even be able to see the baby 8 weeks sooner than we thought we would! Maybe there will be a baby picture on this blog!
